Follow these 4 steps to select the correct model for your project
Different road types require different illuminance levels: rural paths need 5 lux, residential streets need 10 lux, urban side streets need 20 lux, main roads need 30 lux, and highways need 40 lux. Parking lots typically require 15 lux, while industrial parks need 25 lux. This determines how much light output your fixture must deliver.
Multiply your pole spacing by road width to get the coverage area. Then multiply by the lux requirement and divide by the maintenance factor (0.8) and utilization factor (0.6) to get required lumens. All-in-one solar street lights (LKL, LKAS series) integrate everything into one unit for simple installation and lower cost, ideal for residential and urban streets up to 150W. Split solar street lights (LKH, LFT, LKA series) separate the panel from the lamp, allowing larger configurations and easier maintenance, better for main roads, highways, and industrial applications.
Battery capacity depends on daily energy consumption and the number of consecutive rainy days you need backup for. Most regions need 2-3 days backup. For areas with frequent cloudy weather, choose LFT or LKA series with larger battery capacities (up to 1,920Wh). All models use LiFePO4 batteries with 2,500+ cycles and 6-8 year lifespan.
